Summary of events:

Step 1. Dhiraj used to have an address on Assamnet from his USC student days. He removes it from Assamnet at 19:37 on May 1.
I get this information by looking at my Mailman (the mailing list program) log
Step 2. Dhiraj unsubscribes is USC address using the Web. Therefore, my Apache Web server records it. It shows Dhiraj is on
the pikespeak.uccs.edu Web server between 19:36 and 19:38 on May 1. He removes the [EMAIL PROTECTED] email
address from Assamnet using the Web interface. He uses 65.245.29.226 IP address to surf the Web.
Step 3. I look at my SMTP (Mail) log and find that Dhiraj has been sent an unsubcribe email message automatically to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] at 19:41. The email is sent to the server 128.125.253.51. This is registered to the University of
Southern California.
Step 4. I believe Dhiraj surfs the Internet for a while and within about 50 minutes, he subscribes to Assamnet as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The mailman subscription log is at 20:28. He uses 65.245.29.226 IP address to surf the Web.
Step 5. I look at the Apache log and see that Madhurima Das uses the Web interface to subscribe. Web access is from IP address 65.245.29.226.
It's the same machine as used in steps 2, 3 and 4 above.
Step 6. Dhiraj gets confirmation emails. The emails are sent to Yahoo Mail Server.
Step 7: I happen to have kept an old email sent to me by Dhiraj on April 15, 2004. This email came to me from the exact same IP
address he used for steps 1 through 6 above on May 1, 2004.
