Was just watching Zee News (the Hindi News) and they showed the Assam case. The woman and the people around her looked like Bangladeshi illegals.
Now its not that this particular case has anything to do with illegals, but it struck me as Assamese Muslims getting a bad name because these illegals are bringing in their version of Islamic fundamentalism in Muslim personal law. What else can we expect in Assam as the state slowly, but surely morphs into a state filled with illegal Bangladeshis? --Ram On 7/9/05, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > That is exactly why we need the Uniform Civil Code. This is not to say that > the Hindu men care more for woman's rights.
