Govt. of Assam has claimed that NDFB is behind the serial blast of 30/10. A few
Bodo guys having links with NDFB (even a few Cadres of NDFB) have been arrested
by Police.
on the other hand NDFB is claiming that they are not involved orgenisationally
and not owning responsibility of the few cadres involvement (if true).
if we consider the circumstances, it appears that NDFB may not be lying
altogether. some guys having links with NDFB might have been used by some
vested interest party for money to hide their actual motive. if it is so, the
guys directly involved and caught should be interrogated properly to find out
the actual perpetrators. We should demand/ensure Capital Punishment for these
"modern Bodons" helping the cause of the bangladeshis / Fundamentalists if
involvement is proven. NDFB and other Native Extremist parties should come
forward and help in the investigation and help the society/Govt and rebuild
their image as friends of the Natives.
if NDFB/ULFA has masterminded (not merely involved), as Govt. of Assam claimed,
it is the beginning of the end of Assam/Natives/NDFB themselves. The public
opinion against Bangladeshis (which gained momentum recently due to various
reasons) will wane, since people will feel solidarity with the Bangladeshis for
having doubt on them for the blast and to find out that they are not involved!
Hope, the real motive of the Blasts and the masterminds will be uncovered in
the near future which will give directions to the Native organisations working
for the natives.
