I believe I stated that in a confusing manner; what I meant was that
their Spring, when they go to DST, would be the same time as Fall in the
northern hemisphere. I assume "Spring forward" would be in
September/October rather than March/April.

No. Being in close communication with several Aussies, it's
evident to me that they switch from ST to DST in the Spring,
and from DST back to ST in the Fall, just as in the Northern
Hemisphere.
