After the turn of the year, I will be looking for a job. Assembler would be
fun to work with.
I have done some fairly complicated assembler coding in the past at Caterpillar
on the mainframe. I have done one user exit, played with dataspaces, code
above the 31-bit line. I have not done much with the 64-bit stuff, but I
wouldn't imagine it would be much of a stretch to look up any 64-bit
instructions. Anyone needing an Assembler programmer? I do Cobol, Rexx, Clist
also. I have done one html which submits jobs from my pc to the mainframe to
update acf2 rules. It utilizes the mainframe's unix emulation which is in Rexx
code. I had only gotten the proof-of-concept running before I found out that I
am being forced into early retirement. I would prefer to telecommute, but if
necessary, I am flexible. Thanks for any responses.
