Will STCKCONV(STCKVAL) and CONVTOD(TODVAL) obey the same windowing
rules, subject to the control bit?

Will the window boundaries be hard-coded, updated at release (assuming
the developers remember), or evaluated dynamically by STCK (less CVTLSO,
which hardly matters)?

Does CONVTOD report an error on argument out of range?

(I notice there are epoch-savvy versions of both functions,)
