*Position: Senior Java Developer With Finance Experience Location: Weehawken , New Jersey Duration: 6+ Months*
The role is for a hands-on, senior Java Developer for the MeriVal application in Group Finance IT. Group Finance IT provides support for the Investment Bank and Wealth Management Finance functions. A successful candidate will demonstrate Quick grasp of functional requirements and translation into technical designs Strong technical analysis skills. Ability to estimate work, plan and manage prsonal and team technical deliverables Strong technical and team-working skills Self motivated, looking to take ownership of assigned areas of application design and implementation Enthusiastic, self-motivated and keen to learn and share learning with others Strong mentoring and coaching skills Required Skills: Practical Java and Oracle experience (3-7 years minimum) Operating Systems *: experience in development & deployment across Unix/Linux, & Windows platforms *Excellent verbal and written *communication skills Solid Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills*.
