Bomb hits can be collected when in blocking mode, it just depends on the "Spam Bombs" setting in collecting. So, the description is correct in stating that it also applies to scoring mode. Perhaps it should be put in the collecting section under the "Spam Bombs" option and called "Discard Spam Bombs in scoring mode"?
