Last time i did a few tests, there were problems running assp and perl 10
http://www.activestate.com/Products/activeperl/
simply suggests that the actual version is 5.10 and there is no huge warning
in sourceforge/assp that 5.8.8 is the only version running smooth with assp.
I don't know how close we are to the release of 1.3.5, so maybe this is not
an issue yet. But anyone tested perl 10 lately ?
