That is the most ideal way to handle betas in this case. In the future I would like to incorporate some way to script installing betas that did not require repeated tweaking/editing when Fritz modifies his site, otherwise I suppose I could possibly make it so you manually supply a link via variables in the script or maybe at the command line.
I still haven't wrapped my head around what the best way to do it would be - if at all, and certainly would only do so with Fritz's permission - all of which I haven't addresses yet. I have listed it as the first issue for the project:
