I cleared them out. 
But need to state that I never put them in have not touched that file in
any format ever. 
Not sure how they got in there in the first place. And find it
interesting that there was no log error message before. 
Could this be leftovers from older versions of ASSP when I started using
it?

you put in e.g.

124.8.4.125 06-04-17 ForgedHELO:quadtrax.com

this cannot be handled at this time because of hyphenation, remove the
date, or write it as 06_04_17

other entries you put in are eg:

218.147.122.239218.204.253.26

it should be obvious, that the error message was right and that this
is not a correct hyphenated format
