I don't know anything about the global penalty box... I'm quite fine  
with the version I have, it works very well for me.

BUT... As far as accepting money and needing names, addresses,  
phones... None of that seems out of the ordinary, and depending on how  
you pay (If you pay with a mailed check) they then have all of that  
info, plus your bank account number :)

I run a business, and if I am receiving money, or paying money, I make  
sure that I have at least all of that info, in fact, generally I ask  
for their tax Payer ID Number so I can track them down if I need to.

I personally don't think this seems like a scam... It's an OPTIONAL  
paid service... Don't like the feature? Don't use it...
