I ultimately had to restart ASSP.. since then, it is back to the same situation so it appears this problem is easily a recurring problem that happens less than an hour after restart. I've noticed the SMTP connections page to sometimes say at the top there are xx SMTP sessions, however nothing shows on the page until I refresh it.

I'm not certain how to check to see if a thread has ever done anything..it does not appear that in my logs it shows which threads are active. At this point, I'm going to turn on all ASSP logging options to ensure I'm not just missing needed log entries for debugging due to configuration.

Restarting ASSP again as it is not responding..

I'll report back in less than an hour when it starts happening again..(or sooner if you have a question or something you'd like me to look at)

I'd be happy to provide the admin URL password and info to you if you wanted to take a first-hand look at it. I would need your IP to add to allow list and personal email to send the password to.

thanks

Max

I'm noticing as time passes since I restarted it, it is slowly using more and more memory and CPU.

OS & Perl Information:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] assp]# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 5.2 (Final)
[EMAIL PROTECTED] assp]# rpm -qa | grep kernel-
kernel-2.6.18-53.1.21.el5

Right now, the SMTP connections window says:
There is 1 SMTP session in threads (global 18, total 18) active.

Hello Max,

you are talking about some problems, but before someone could help you, there are some required information:

- OS
- ASSP - version (complete)
- Perl version

and some lines from the log!

Thomas

It is worth noting that ASSP was using 100% CPU...
