You are never going to stop some of us from top-posting. It's a battle
you are going to lose Internet-wide. I am top-posting intentionally
because I found your original reply to be both annoying and
empathetically insulting to a new poster - and I'm illustrating a point
to you.  Otherwise I do try to respect the acceptable or expect format
of the list I am participating on.

You may not realize this, but there are many lists where top-posting is
the preferred method.  At least try to be nice about it.  He might be
new (to here, the Internet in general, email, etc), so he might not know
any better.  Or he might not care. But there is no need for your type of
reply as the initial complaint.

It's this type of thing that turns people away, when we are supposed to
be trying to help each other.
