Which was why I originally used 25 for the receiving port, not IP:25  
as Thomas requested. I'm still not sure why using just 25 is not the  
solution for the assp set up the Thomas recommends. Either way, this  
type of e-mail has bypassed assp when the setting was just 25 AND when  
it's MXIP:25.

Understood. The problem with this argument _in this case_ is that the  
e-mail came to the correct MX-indentified server name/IP. So, in this  
case, that was not the cause of the e-mail getting through (see also  
above).
