You should maintain a list of mailing lists as a whitelist to prevent  
this. In the same way I make special cases for postmaster@ and abuse@  
you need to make sure certain hosts and addresses can get to you  
mostly unfiltered.

I have a secret@ address that is completly open and allows any mail so  
clients can report things with no trouble.

I have not yet deployed this idea in ASSP but always do so on my other  
systems.

However, in your case, since you back and forth emails to the list,  
wouldn't ASSP have learned that behavior is acceptable and let it pass?

I do agree, even if a link lacks a protocol, uribl needs to catch it.  
If ASSP has to prefix every "word" that contains two dots with http://  
and https:// that would be one method, though I think not ideal.
