What are your settings for: ConsoleCharset LogCharset UseUnicode4MaillogNames decodeMIME2UTF8
my setting s for German (Umlauts,sz...) on Win32 are: ConsoleCharset:=cp850 LogCharset:=cp1252 UseUnicode4MaillogNames:=1 decodeMIME2UTF8:=1 Other characters (spain,french,slowakien,nordic,cyrillic,greek,chinese,japanies ...) will possibly not correctly shown in syslog and console - but will be correctly written (UTF8) in to maillog.txt. If UTF8-browsers or UTF8-editors (no vi please) are used, all these strange character could be used in MaillogTail and Blockreports . All this should not be a problem if your system supports native UTF8 (set the codepages to UTF8). How ever, 2.0.1_0.6.02 will fix the issue that assp is dying on this - but some lines will maybe not be logged in syslog.
