You meen to add an additional parameter to each file based parameter to
define, if the parameter or the file content should be shown in the hit
box ?
- some the files are realy large - too large for the hintbox
- most of the regex files contains too long lines, to be able to show them
nice in the hintbox
- the GUI is completely working offline until any action button is clicked
- so all files that sould be shown in the hintbox, has to be sent to the
browser (HTML formated)
I don't think that this will work.

I was looking at the GUI to change some parameters and was using the
roll-over for parameter settings. In many cases, the reference is to a
file which stores our parameter data, which, in some ways, makes the
roll-over less useful than it might be, because parameter detail is no
longer visible using the GUI. Could we add a GUI parameter that puts the
parameters as the last row of the roll-over and also puts the contents of
the file in the roll-over? It might have to be done in a manner that adds
a 'show file contents' for each parameter that refers to a file. That way,
we'd be able to set the view of the data only when we have specified the
use of a file for a given parameter.
