Fritz, thank you for your reply! Yes, I sent using MAIL FROM and RCPT TO only, without specifying it as part of DATA. Yesterday I deployed one more SMTP server before ASSP and tried to telnet though that server - all messages (spam and legitimate) were delivered normally. Thus, the behavior appears when both of the following is true: 1) Telnet directly to ASSP (without the sender and recipient in data); 2) Message is scored as spam.
Telneting directly to ASSP and sending a legitimate message everything is being transferred to recipients normally. Later I tried to telnet filling the info as part of data and everything went well also. Since test delivery from an SMTP server to ASSP was successful I don't worry about the behavior anymore.
