Forgot, sounds like the netfarm package contains just bare
minimal conf files, so you may want to (at least) pick the ones
from the guysalias package to have all the options; as for the
setup (ok, it's partially OT, but...) my suggestion is to place the
clamav into a folder structure like this one

<=============================================>
X:\clamav\libclamav.dll
X:\clamav\libclamav_llvm.dll
X:\clamav\libclamunrar.dll
X:\clamav\libclamunrar_iface.dll
X:\clamav\clambc.exe
X:\clamav\clamd.exe
X:\clamav\clamdscan.exe
X:\clamav\clamscan.exe
X:\clamav\exeScanner.exe
X:\clamav\freshclam.exe
X:\clamav\profiler.exe
X:\clamav\sigcheck.exe
X:\clamav\sigtool.exe
X:\clamav\unscrambler.exe

X:\clamav\conf
X:\clamav\conf\clamd.conf
X:\clamav\conf\freshclam.conf

X:\clamav\data
X:\clamav\data\bytecode.cvd
X:\clamav\data\daily.cvd
X:\clamav\data\main.cvd
X:\clamav\data\mirrors.dat

X:\clamav\docs
X:\clamav\docs\clamav.reg
X:\clamav\docs\README.txt

X:\clamav\libs
X:\clamav\libs\clamav.h
X:\clamav\libs\libclamav.lib

X:\clamav\logs
X:\clamav\logs\clamd.log
X:\clamav\logs\freshclam.log

X:\clamav\temp
<=============================================>

this way you'll have the various bits and pieces sitting
into their own folders and will be easier updating stuff
and so on :) the basic idea is

conf config files (freshclam.conf, clamd.conf)
data database files (signatures) both official and unofficial
docs readme, additional files
libs libraries, headers (don't usually needed)
logs clamd and freshclam log files
temp all temporary files go there (setup that in the config)

while the root folder "x:\clamav" will only contain the
clamav binaries and DLLs which will in turn ease the
task of updating these files :)
