Hi,

I wanted to try out the Block Report interface since it sounded pretty
neat and my users would probably like it. However, even though the email
interface works to accept my commands and the reports I request seem to
be generated ok, ASSP can't seem to talk properly to my MTA in order to
actually send the reports back to me. All the other email interfaces on
my ASSP install are working fine, so I'm not sure why just the email
interface for Block Reports isn't working. I tried it several ways, from
an email admin address, and requesting another address, from a regular
user address, email admin requesting reports for multiple addresses,
etc. I also tried using the blockreport file from the web interface (no
email interface), but it appears to have the same problem with sending
reports back by email. It looks like it's not parsing my MTA's
greeting/banner properly, since it seems to halt near the beginning of
the smtp transaction. The MTA is Exim 4.69 (a common Cpanel MTA). ASSP
is version 2.1.1(11278).

Here's the relevant lines from the logfile for a sample request:

I also turned on the general debug option to get some extra data as
well, if that might be useful for anyone. It doesn't look like there's
anything particularly useful in it to me though, especially since it
doesn't have the entire smtp conversation with the MTA logged.

thanks,
-C
