I too have this problem on Mavericks with Safari 7.0.  It was happening
previously in OS X Mountain Lion too (not sure of the Safari version
numbers).  I kept thinking that it was something with my servers.  I thought
I had tried Firefox previously, but just yesterday I did try Firefox and the
web interface loads just fine.
