I'm running version 2.4.2 (14081) and it just did something I've never seen before. I have my mail server updating domain and user lists every five minutes. ASSP sees the file changes on these files and loads the updated versions. The batch that does this extracts the users/domains into new files, then quickly deletes the old files and renames the new files, so ASSP can't accidentally open a file that is still open for writing.
It was running perfectly normal up until 3:01 pm this afternoon. Suddenly, ASSP stopped accepting mail from users hosted by us. Every email sent from a local user (using SMTP AUTH) was rejected with "530 Relaying not allowed - sender domain not local" At 3:30 I saw what was going on and restarted ASSP, and operation returned to normal. I looked at the logs where ASSP picks up the user and domain files, and in every instance, the correct number of records were read in. Any idea what caused this? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their applications.
