hypothetic ? This happens very often. And - YES - the changes are queued 
at the master and synchronized to the slave, if the master is able to 
contact the slave again.
Even if the master is restarted while the slave is down - the sync state 
is queued for each changed config value. There is a red dot behind a 'not 
in sync' config value in the GUI.
The sync states are recorded in the file assp/assp_sync.cfg

More problematic is a Master <-> Master synchronization, if the connection 
was down for a while and the same config value was meanwhile changed on 
both systems differently.
Which systems 'wins' in this case is unclear - because the sync mechanism 
does not record the change time!

This is a hypothetic question, 
what happens if you have several ASSP servers and you had to switch of a 
slave server for a while and did some changes to the master
are those changes pending and pushed out after the switched of slave is 
turned on again?
