Ken - please can you THINK about the things before you post them here.

1. it take time to read
2. it takes time to think and to find an educated guess
3. it takes time to answer

TIME is money!

Invalid sender addresses should be rejected - and will never reach the
NoSpoofingOK code.
Valid local addresses (possibly from verified IP's') are allowed or not
allowed to send (spoofed) mails. There is nothing inbetween 0 and 1 in a
binary logic (only QC's have three states in a QBIT)!

>I like the idea of being able to assign these messages a score,
I think nobody other than you wants to give local valid users a score.
If you want to penalize valid and verfied local senders, you can do this
using your own assp-plugin (level 0 or 1).

If you need help, or you want me to write such a plugin, no problem. You
can hire me for this and I'll make you an offer.

Betreff: [Assp-test] DoNoSpoofing score

After looking at the code, it appears that if DoNoSpoofing is set to
score,
it uses flValencePB for that score.

To date, I haven't used DoNoSpoofing, as so many get content from websites
(ike mailing themselves an article from the New York Times website or
receiving a package alert from UPS (which uses their own email address as
the from).

I like the idea of being able to assign these messages a score, but not
the
same score as what's used for a truly invalid sender - from a local domain
but the address doesn't match LDAP to the flat valid sender file.

Any chance of adding another valance just for spoofed senders? No big
deal
if that's too cumbersome. Or maybe a way to give an admin option to only
use a percentage of flValancePB for DoNoSpoofing?
