>If I delete the table will ASSP recreate it from file?

yes, assp will create all configured tables at startup

>What’s the best way to restore the database tables?

if configured assp has made databasetables backups to the mysql folder
read the database section of the GUI, fill the importfolder, run an import

My mail server rebooted itself and when it came up, MySQL gave this error:

2020-09-20T08:41:44.966301Z 0 [ERROR] InnoDB: Your database may be corrupt
or you may have copied the InnoDB tablespace but not the InnoDB log files.

I ran:

sudo rm /usr/local/var/mysql/ib_logfile0

And

sudo rm /usr/local/var/mysql/ib_logfile1

And it started up OK and other programs (eg Dovecot) could connect to it
Ok.

But ASSP is having problems connecting to it:

What’s the best way to restore the database tables? If I delete the table
will ASSP recreate it from file?

Thanks,
