Agreed.  I block much more with those than with Bayesian.  With those, you can quickly build a corpus to catch all the Bayesian variants of what you might otherwise miss via blackRe/bombRe/scriptRe.

Its not magic though - a good default setup and good regex's are key.

That was true in the old days))), today you can have a reasonable
database in a week by just not using the bayesian filter in the first
training stage and let the database built by rbl,spf, bomb and sender
validation.
