i'd love to find  and block (via regex) more troyaned computers.

i don't expect a real mailserver to work over a dynamic ip-address or not to 
have a properly configured reverse.

so if i could have a dns lookup of that IP i could do a simple regex check 
to refuse connection if it's a (dyn | no-ip | numeric triplet | etc) .

like we do with HELO checks, but using the PTR for the connecting IP.


with [Validate Sender / Reverse Lookup] we just verify that a valid PTR 
record is present. I think we could have a benefit verifying that ptr 
against a simply RegEx.

[call me crazy, but i prefer to accept a connection from a no-ptr than from 
a 12.34.56.dyn.provider.net ]

but maybe my second suggestion (regex for pre-data only) is easier to 
implement and could give even a greater benefit.
