Good points. Something to add: I've been Googling "ASSP" and related words. I am finding discussions regarding ASSP with skepticism of the volume and load that can be handled. Is anyone here adept at performing some benchmark testing, or does anyone have any real-world high-volume stats they can share and document?
Also, it seems that there was somewhat of a buzz about ASSP back around 1.0.7, but I think the perhaps the lack of progress within the project for an extended period caused a lot of interest to drop-off.
