I know many of you will object to this because of the large amounts of foreign mail that it will reject, but I have found, since blacklisting all foreign domains six months ago, I have had only three requests for whitelisting from people outside the U.S. To me, that is a huge success rate.
So, based on those results, I made this simple regex \d\d\W\d\d\d\W\d\d\d\W\d\d\d I've constantly seen that number sequence as the telephone numbers on those Nigeria scams and the like. I'm not real worldly in that I have no idea if that # pattern includes all countries not US, but it seems to be the one always used on the scams. As always, watch for other, unrelated false positives. FWIW ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
