:-) To them its ham (emailing friends and family), to me its spam
(forwarding and replying to emails about things they want to buy, credit
card/banking statements, speaking with friends using slang and curse
words, etc).

When I first implemented ASSP at this location, I started to have
Bayesian analysis issues after about 3 months of running normally.
Since then I have had to use an external script (but am now using the
redRe since it now prevent corpus inclusion) in order to remove certain
messages from the notspam part of the corpus.

I know this sounds odd, and I agree with that assessment - but I never
had to do this with other installations of ASSP. This particular
organization has a large amount of young people working here, and they
email constantly throughout the day as if they were Instant Messaging
(the magic of Microsoft Exchange). In fact, I wish that they would IM
instead of (potentially) adding hundreds of messages of garbage/spam to
my corpus.

If there is a more appropriate way for me to handle this, I am "all
ears" to hear what you or anyone can recommend. For now, I know that
this works in this specific situation.
