I agree - but I also like the idea of having them on the individual 
detail pages/tabs too.

For myself, a simply 'Testmode Summary' page would suffice - no need to 
be able to change anything there, just show me how I have everything set 
so I can see at a glance what might be causing a problem I might be 
having...
