Let's approach this from a different angle. Is there _ANY_ known case of a "security hole" in ASSP being exploited by a third party? Of course, asking this question may be an invitation to disaffected persons to try and exploit it. If they fail, fine. If they succeed, we learn and fix the problem. Either way, we win overall.
