554 5.7.1 Your email appears to be spam -- send an error report to

I don't remember what my reasons were for preferring this one though...
I remember that deciding on the 5.7.1 part was obvious, that usage is well
known, well described, in consensus
The 554 part was less clear, apparently when it was 'designed' they didn't
imagine wanting to refuse mail? If I recall correctly it was claimed that
one should use the 550 code only for errors related to mailboxes and that
for policy-refusals one should use the rather general 554 code...
