Doug, once again I think you for your reply. I quote from the readme file associated with this package: "REQUIREMENTS This module dependa upon Tie::RDBM and DBI. Please read the documentation from Tie::RDBM as this has more information on ways to use this module." (The spelling is theirs.) SO, one way or another, I have to get Tie::RDBM
This has been the second most frustrating thing about ASSP. It is a wonderful piece of software and it does a great job of stopping spam. However, it is built on sand. The modules (that might not be the correct word) seem to come and go. It took over a week for me to find a copy of the module needed to run ASSP as a service in XP appearently because the source site was down. The availability of the various modules is not under the control of the authors of ASSP. It is good to not have to reinvent the wheel, but a real pain if the wheel is missing or is very difficult to find. For a piece of software as good and as important as ASSP could be, there should not be any dependance upon unstable sources of required (or even optional) code. Anyway, I do appreciate your help George Doug Lytle wrote: > > geode wrote: >> Thanks, Doug, I did a google search and found your reference, but your >> reference directs me back to CPAN and CPAN's reference points to a >> non-existant page. >> > > > Try this link: > > http://backpan.perl.org/authors/id/H/HA/HARRY/ > > Doug > > -- > Ben Franklin quote: > > "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary > Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Take Surveys.
