I would try, check the box, click apply. Uncheck the box, click apply again. Also, have you looked at your assp.cfg file to see if there is a line with EnableDelaying:= I'm not positive, but it looks like if the code does not find an entry in the config file for a particular option, it uses a default value. If the save function can't write that entry to the file (e.g. it's set read only or permissions are too strict) it won't save your changes.
