The same problem it happend to me. But the very funny thing is that I change the owner of the file assp.cfg to nobody/nogroup. But when I start ASSP, the file assp.cfg changes its owner back to root. I configure the ASSP to run using nobody/nogroup IDs.
I sent a message before about this problem but nobody answer me. I hope tha somebody knows what happend. Thanks in advance Andrés. 2007/4/16, Howard Fleming <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Just a guess, but check your file ownership and/or rights for the assp > files (assp.cfg, etc.). > > I think (someone please correct me if I am wrong...:o), if you have set > the owner/group of assp to run as someone else other than root, that > same user needs to own and/or have read/write privileges to the file(s). > > I ran into this last week with a test system i am working on. > > Howard > > > On 4/16/2007, "Alfred Payne" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > >Hi all, > > > >When i make changes to my assp configuration via the web console and > >click apply changes, the changes are only there untill the next restart, > >when all goes back to default.Any ideas? > > > >OS - Ububtu Edgy (6.10) > >ASSP - 1.2.6 > > > >Thanks > > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------- > >This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express > >Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take > >control of your XML.
