I think I have tracked this down. In PrintConfigSettings(), assp.cfg is re-read into the %Config hash, but not updated again with default values. The line in question is the first line of PrintConfigSettings():
open(F,"<$base/assp.cfg"); local $/; (%Config)=split(/:=|\n/,<F>); close F; I commented it out and the default settings began displaying properly in the GUI. It also saved all the default settings to the assp.cfg file when I clicked Apply Changes. Does assp.cfg need to be reloaded at this point, or can that line just be removed?
