I don't have those configured and SRS runs fine at my site.

The domain-part of whatever e-mail addresses this server normally
sends mail for is fine.

just anything indeed, doesn't need to be used anywhere else.

if [EMAIL PROTECTED] sends to [EMAIL PROTECTED] which forwards to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] you should see something like this in the log:
May-4-07 20:28:37 id-12345678 10.20.30.40  <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> SRS
rewriting sender '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' into
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
