Hi,

I realize that I am running an older version of ASSP (1.2.6), and upgrading
to 1.3.x is on my list of things todo. :) But I am running into a slight
problem with the regex parsing of my LocalDomains file for relaying. I am
not using LDAP to do any validation, and all my relaying validation is
limited to checking the localDomains file.

Under normal circumstances, everything works fine. I can receive email to
any domain listed within the localDomains file. However, if I try to
enclose an email address with quotes (ie: "eric:address"@domain.com), the
email gets rejected as Relaying not allowed, even if domain.com is in the
localDomains file and normally addressed email (ie: [EMAIL PROTECTED]) gets
delivered properly.

I realize that have quotes in an email address may not be RFC compliant (I
am not sure if it is or not), however, the this is they way my MTA (Merak)
has chosen to implement IMAP subadressing, so I don't have much choice, if I
want to enable it. The only other option would be to rewrite the address as
it is coming into the MTA, but neither ASSP or the MTA supports that (from
what i can tell).

Is this easily fixable? I am not sure why the RegEx would fail with the
name wrapped in "s.

Thanks!

Eric
