I would advise strongly against listing service such AOL or Hotmail in
your ipnp (IP address No Processing list), as they are common sources of
spam.

These lists are for the IP ranges of service providers that you likely
want to communicate with, and that would *never* send you spam. 
Blackberry for instance, is commonly used device for sending mobile
email.  Even if its tied to a particular organization, all Blackberry
communications flow through Blackberry servers.  So it is probably in
your interest to allow any traffic from Blackberry IP addresses to come
right in.

These are based on, and are a formalized display and expansion of what
is distributed with ASSP in the form of the "ipnp.txt" file.  In the
article, I've made the blocks more encompassing and detailed.
