Is ASSP having any issues with SMTP connection refusals? Every now and
then my users are refused SMTP connection. I've been thinking that it
is hMailServer but I'm beggining to think that it is ASSP. I just had a
user try to send and send and each time Thunderbird threw up a message
stating that SMTP was refused. I closed Thunderbird and reopened it but
still got the message. I restarted the computer but still got the same
message. I stopped and restared the smtp service on my mail server and
still got the message. The only time I didn't get the message was when
I pointed her to smtp2.mydomain.com (SMTP2 is the actual mail server and
not ASSP. ASSP is smtp.mydomain.com). My max SMTP connections is set
to 32. Max sessions per IP is set to 5 (each of my local users have
private IP addresses assigned via DHCP). Maximum SMTP Sessions Per IP
Address Frequency is set to 5. Maximum SMTP Sessions Per IP Address
Frequency Duration is set to 60. ClamAV is running on the mail server
and not ASSP. ASSP is hosted on Ubuntu Feisty. The box has a AMD X2
2.8 GHZ with a 2 Meg Cache, 4 Gigs of 800 Mhz RAM, and Gb NIC.
