I'm not sure what you mean here, but the blackRe matches against the
entire message up to maxBytes.

The reason this regex starts with "Subject:" is so that it matches the
subject in the header.  Since you really aren't familiar with regular
expressions, this string:

----------
subject: [^\n]*     \S
----------

...matches a subject that starts with 5 spaces.  Subjects starting
with excessive spacing are typically from stupid spammers who think
that is going to drive their email to the top of your inbox.

As always, its your call to manage how you use your regex's.  The
defaults that are supplied are usually quite reliable and safe.
