Yes I will, once I let it run for a while.

We all draw these lines such as internet-->ASSP-->MTA-->Clients

but these dont show how our networks are setup.
I surmise the reason my NW/GW install worked so easily was that the MTA used
ASSP
as both a Default gateway and the outbound relay. Not so on my exchange
install.

Hence there needs to be different relay settings when ASSP is not facing the
net directly, only has one internal NIC and NAT is in play.

So yes, i will.

I want other to benefit from my mistakes


PS:  Are you going to update the wiki with your Exchange
issue/findings?  Or is there nothing that needs updating?
