Has this project forked?
No. As I believe Kevin posted when he released 1.3.3.10: its only a bug fix version, and any issues should be communicated to him directly. It is not part of the regular development cycle, and issues with it should not be communicated back to the primary developers.
This was not a fork in any way shape or form. It was only to help people relying on code from the SF site.
What is the project home page where latest version is published and released?
The latest version of code can always be found on Fritz's web site: http://www.magicvillage.de/~Fritz_Borgstedt/assp/
Currently the old project home page of http://assp.sourceforge.net/ And the wiki http://www.asspsmtp.org/wiki/Welcome Noth say the latest version os 1.3.3.10. But the main developer doesn't support that version. Quite odd.
The wiki mostly reflects documentation of what is released on Source Forge. It is not updated by developers, so it typically does not reflect development information, or versions not on SF. It really depends on which versions the primary wiki maintainers are running themselves. Everyone is welcome to help document new[er] information.
Also what's up with the versioning system? Major, minor, patch level, and what is the last #? Build #?
From what I understand its more-or-less:Major# [.] Minor# [.] Patch# [.] Point release bug-fix (notational version info)
Notational version info, as far as I understand it, is just that. Its specific to the developers: who modified the code in that modified version, etc. Sometimes its just a number, sometimes it contains initials, sometimes it an acronym signifying what part of the code was modified.
