<sigh> thats not what I mean.

Of *course* this functionality would only apply to attachments that were
not BLOCKED.

But you do have a point about retention laws - but companies subject to
such will have the money to pay for a proper storage system that perform
data-deduplication.

I'm looking for a poor mans version...
