Hi all
I'm playing with npRe and seem to be getting a strange result.
Some of our incoming mail is immediately forwarded out to external
mailboxes. I'm trying to pass the forwarded outgoing message without
processing.
Here's the top few lines of a message
Received: from school.mydomain.org ([192.168.1.254] helo=school.mydomain.org)

This is my npRe file:
received\:.*?by.school\.mydomain\.org.with.microsoft
subject\:.*?out.of.office
I'm trying to detect the messages that have already been received by
my server. That does not work. It gets processed and put in the
notspam because assp thinks I'm sending it.
If I change that first line in npRe simply to:
by.school\.mydomain\.org.with.microsoft
Then it works. I can probably live with that but I don't understand
why it doesn't work with the received\:.*? at the beginning? FWIW,
I've tested it on www.regextester.com and it does get a match with the
full line.
Thanks
Ross
