Personally, I think even if ASSP fell apart today (which I doubt strongly), the
app is more than capable of serving your needs without further modification.
If you need help I would ask your questions here.
As an aside, I have been documenting my attempts to get ASSP running on Ubuntu
and (for my own sake) I included every single setting I changed from default -
I'm happy to share my document with anyone who emails me.
