and I can confirm it; running it in production w/o any issue and btw it solved a lot of minor problem/issues; I can heartly recommend upgrading to 1.5.0; ok, maybe you'll have to upgrade or install some perl modules, but that isn't usually a big issue about modules... running ActivePerl 5.8.8, if I issue the command ppm s IO::Socket::SSL the response I receive is 1: IO-Socket-SSL Nearly transparent SSL encapsulation for IO::Socket::INET. Version: 1.08 Author: Steffen Ullrich & Peter Behroozi & Marko Asplund Provide: IO::Socket::SSL version 1.08 Require: Net_SSLeay.pm Repo: uni_winnipeg CPAN: http://search.cpan.org/dist/IO-Socket-SSL-1.08/ till then, all ok, but it then I try running ppm i 1 the result is Downloading IO-Socket-SSL-1.08...done Downloading Net_SSLeay.pm-1.35...not found ppm i failed: 404 Not Found I even tried installing Net::SSleay separately and then tried to install IO::Socket::SSL but got the same error, so I think it's an error in the "winnipeg" package Bottom line; does anyone know where to fetch a good and working IO::Socket::SSL package ? Or either, is there anyone on this list with contacts to uni winnipeg and which may report them this issue so that it may hopefully be fixed ? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by: SourcForge Community SourceForge wants to tell your story. http://p.sf.net/sfu/sf-spreadtheword _______________________________________________ Assp-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/assp-user
