Should be enough. I deployed a DMZ ASSP into production for my company yesterday on quadcore Xeon with 2048/4096 (dedicated/burstable; OpenVZ) and it doesn't seem like it's using much resources at all. I pretty much over-estimated the requirement.
In 24 hours period, ASSP procesed around 19900 e-mails and the server load average remains at "0.00 0.00 0.00". It consistently have around 10 SMTP connections, one time burst up to 42. This is on weekend, I expect way more e-mails during business hours, weekdays. clamd taking up 387M RAM. assp.pl takes 195M. Gotta love ASSP! :) On Fri, 30 Jan 2009 13:44:05 +0800 Nelson Serafica <[email protected]> wrote: > I'm new to assp since I usually used spamassassin and want to replace it and > use assp.
